This Technical note is specifically written for collector BK412 application information in the cassiterite flotation separation process.Our newly developed cassiterite collector BK412, red (pink) powder or lamellar crystal, slightly soluble in water, and soluble in alcohol and ether, the melting point is 165-178℃, is a safe and an effective cassiterite collector compounded of mineral processing active substances, such as poly hydroxy hydroxamic acid, etc. BK412 has characteristics of low toxicity, strong collecting capacity and excellent selectivity.

Methods of Use

l Prepare 5 to 10% mass concentration solution with 2% sodium carbonate aqueous solution.

l Use with collector BK411.

l When the ore is grinded into fineness, add sodium carbonate to adjust the pH to 7-9, and then add the lead nitrate (400-800g/t) for activation, and then add the collectors BK411 and BK412.

l BK412：BK411 =5:1-8:1。

l BK412 dosage is 200-500g/t
