Character

Gray-white solid particles (occasionally containing a small amount of black substances), low toxicity, no irritating odor.

Applications

The product is suitable for replacing sodium cyanide, used for the leaching of precious metals such as gold and silver, and is used for heap leaching, pool leaching, stirring leaching and stirring leaching of gold concentrates and tailings of gold ore.

Instructions

l Prepare 5% ~20% mass concentration aqueous solution

l The dosage can refer to that of the original sodium cyanide. The character, grade, and harmful elements of the ore, and pH value of the pulp may affect the dosage. For the raw ore stirring leaching, the agent dosage is about 0.2kg~1.5kg/t; for the raw ore heap leaching, the reagent dosage is about 0.5kg~1.0kg/t; for the gold concentrate stirring leaching, the reagent dosage is about 5kg~8kg/t. The above dosage is for reference only. Before industrial application, it is recommended to conduct a small test to determine the appropriate dosage.

l The dosage of the reagent does NOT follow the principle of the higher, the better. and each ore may have a different suitable dosage. The mass concentration of the reagent in the first tank is generally controlled to be 6~10/10,000, and in the tail tank is 3~3.5/10,000; the raw ore heap leaching process generally controls the concentration of 8~10/10,000 in the peak period of leaching, 4~8/10,000 in the middle stage of leaching, and 3~4/10,000 in the tail stage of leaching.

l The pH range of the slurry is 10~12.

l The total cyanide content of tailings meets the pollution control limit value of 5mg/L for the disposal of cyanide slag tailings in most countries.

l The leaching rate of gold is the same as or slightly higher than that of sodium cyanide.

l The product is a general chemical, which is convenient for transportation, storage and use.

l Compared with other similar drugs, the consumption is 25%-30% lower, and the leaching rate is more than 1% higher.

l The product contains less impurities, the leaching rate is stable, does not block the pipeline, does not affect the service life of activated carbon, and does not affect the adsorption and desorption of activated carbon.

Before using the reagent, a laboratory experiment is required to be carried out to explore the best dosage of the reagent to provide a data basis for industrial applications.
